We are taking Canteen's Five Peaks Virtual Challenge...

…a month-long challenge to cover 68km in March - the combined trail distance of Australia’s five highest peaks.

Every year, 23,000 young Australians face the mountain that is a cancer journey. Whether facing their own cancer diagnosis, or dealing with a loved one’s cancer journey, climbing that peak means feeling isolated, lost, exhausted, and confused.

It’s terrifying, and no one should face it alone. That’s why we’re challenging ourselves and we need your support!

Day 2!

Sunday 2nd Mar
Bit sore after yesterday but got in 3.5kms and a bit of weights today ✅

First day done and dusted!

Saturday 1st Mar
Matty completed 4.5kms today and I completed 3.5km. We will be mixing between gym sessions and outdoor walks depending on the weather. As it’s almost 40°c still, today was an indoor gym day 😂

Our reason

Sunday 26th Jan
In 2024 our eldest was diagnosed with a benign brain tumour. When we found out it was benign, we made a promise to raise funds for a new charity every year as a thank you for her health. This year we are also working on a fitness journey, so what better way to start than helping raise money for an amazing charity.
